Book Review: Growing Green

I was sent this book for Brendan to review. I feel that this book is a great book to help your children understand the importance of being green. The story uses colorful pictures to illustrate the small things that underpin an environmentally friendly lifestyle-taking care of small creatures and their habitats, nurturing seeds and seedlings, picking up litter and recycling-and the whole concept is grounded in God's command to care for all his creation.Addressing important issues in a fun way, this attractive book shows children doing small things that help make up an environmentally gentle lifestyle. Emphasis is placed on such tasks as taking care of small creatures and their habitats, nurturing seeds, picking up litter, and recycling. Brief captions with a hint of humor explain how even little things can make a big difference in saving our sacred planet.

I really liked this book as well as Brendan. I will be passing this book on to the next kid to teach them on how to be green.

I received this book for review purposes. My opinions are honest and I was not paid for this review.
