ecoAlternatives Review

With all of this talk about being green and going organic and recycling i though what else can I do that will help myself in the long run. Thanks when i found ecoAlternatives on etsy. She carries a wide range of different types of cloth pads. When i mentioned this to a few friends the first thing they said was eww gross! When i explained the benefits some of them still dint want to hear it. I told them that I bet it is like the feeling of a baby wearing a plastic diaper all day. So with that said i saw sent over this cute cherry pattern cloth pad.
The details: The Regular Pads
Measures: Approximately 9" in length and 3" across when the wings are snapped.
Materials: Made of an outer layer of comfortable flannel with a layer of waterproof fabric (PUL) and a layer of absorbent ZORB sewn securely in between.
Closure: Wrap-around your panties wings secure with a snap!
Flow Meter: My pads will contain a medium flow.

Care: Simply store used pads/liners in cold water (to help prevent staining) and then toss them in the wash before drying out. Pads/liners are machine washable and dryer safe. If cared for properly, they can last for years.
I have to say I felt a little weird using this but as soon as i put it on i told my husband it felt like heaven in my underpants! The only negative this was when it was time to take this off take this off I had to put a regular plastic pad on and it was so uncomfortable. I will defiantly be investing in cloth pads this was so amazing.

  1. I plan to cloth diaper my son when he comes in December. I was thinking how pads must be like wearing a plastic diaper just yesterday, and wondered if there was a cloth alternative... I guess there is!

  2. Hmmm.... this is super interesting. I don't have a washing machine though so the cleaning part would be tough for me.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by my blog! Following you back now!
