Book Review: The Girl Who Met Geronimo

I just finished a book called The Girl Who Met Geronimo Addie Slaughter. The book is wrote by Susan L. Krueger ED.D. First i want to say that i loved this book. She told me that it was written for children but that adults were really liking it. She was so right my mom read it first and liked it and then i read it.
The story starts out in Texas where Willie and Addie were born. Their father was a Confederate solider in the civil war and a Texas ranger. The children and the mother got sick with small pox and the mother didn't make it. Eventually their father met a new lady and they were married. The children accepted her as their mother. The story takes you through Addie's life and her journeys.
I recommend this book for anyone in your family. My son Brendan who is 8 also read this book and enjoyed it. The book also has a bonus Curriculum guide included.
