Fresh Baby logo
Fresh Baby is a great company that carries all products focused on feeding your baby and toddler. Fresh Baby's commitment to equipping parents goes beyond product sales. Their newsletter, Fresh Ideas, is completely free and packed with family-friendly recipes and tips on healthy eating for the whole family. Cheryl also volunteers her time speaking to groups of new parents on subjects such as introducing solid foods, making baby food, and raising a healthy eater.

Cheryl started out by making food for her son, Spencer, and she found that it was actually easy with a few simple tools. And interestingly, once she got started making baby food, it was really quite convenient. All total, it took about 30 minutes a week. The award-winning So Easy Baby Food Kit is the result of this experience and much research. The kit provides families with everything they need to make homemade baby food. Just open the box and get started.
Fresh Baby has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception and now includes products to help parents continue to provide fresh foods for their toddlers and preschoolers. The So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook coupled with the Kid's Portion Plate guides parents through meal times with recipes that are simply fun and provide guidance on both control and variety.

I tried out their So Easy Baby Food Kit which retails for $37.95. Here is what is inside the kit.

The So Easy Baby Food Kit takes all of the guesswork out of making baby food. This all-in-one kit shows you how to prepare fresh, natural meals for your baby in less than 30 minutes a week. We all know fresh is best. Let the So Easy Baby Food Kit be your guide to nurture your growing baby with a balanced diet and provide the right start to a lifetime of healthy eating.
  • Make fresh, natural baby food in 30 minutes per week
  • "Open the box and get started" convenience
  • Award-winning kit includes book, storage trays, how-to DVD, and tip card
  • Recommended by pediatricians
  • Perfect new baby gift
  • So Easy Trays are BP-A and phthalate-free
The award-winning kit includes everything you need to get started, and of course, it’s so easy. A complete system including a cookbook, how-to video, freezer storage trays, and nutrition tips card leave you with only one thing to add - fresh ingredients!
Parents say that when they use the So Easy system of making baby food that they feel great about what they are doing for their growing baby. Your baby will look forward to their meals too and you’ll enjoy yummy smiles from your baby right from the start.
So Easy Baby Food Kit includes:
Cookbook: covers introducing solid food, includes over 40 recipes, hundreds of serving suggestions, and is all organized by age. (Hardcover, 118 pages).
Freezer Storage Trays: designed for storing baby food in pre-portioned one ounce servings to simplify meal time and reduce waste. (2 trays and 2 lids, spill-proof, stackable, dishwasher-safe and biodegradable).

How-to DVD: offers step-by-step instruction - from selecting the right produce - to making baby food - to serving it.
Nutrition Tip Card: gives you tips on the best sources of nutrients, introducing foods by age, first aid for choking, and more. (Waterproof Finish)
The So Easy Baby Food Kit is designed for babies making the transition to solid foods (babies about 6 months old).

First I want to say that I really like the cookbook and it has great recipes really like that it gives you ways to change up your flavors by adding additional items at certain ages to really change up your babies palette. My favorite part is the freezer storage trays. I have other brands and they are so hard to pop the cubes out and these  pop out on the first time without having to run them under water. I have officially retired my other trays and only use these now.

This is the tray full of apples.
One lucky TTGG follower will be winning a set of their own!

Nurturme Baby and Toddler food

Nurturme
Nurturme is food that grows with your baby. These little compact servings are perfect for moms on the go and are super convenient to store in your bag. Meet the two moms that came up with this idea.

Caroline Freedman had the idea for a better way to feed her little one when pregnant with NurturMe spokes-toddler Audrey. “I realized very little had changed since I was a baby getting pureed nutrition in thick glass containers.”
After sharing that notion with longtime friend Lauren McCullough over a plate of Polvo’s nachos, one of Austin’s notorious Mexican eateries, the two fed off each other’s complementary skill sets and got the ball rolling.
That led to a messy first run of dehydrating foods in the kitchen of Caroline’s downtown condo. Which quickly convinced them to seek assistance from drum- and freeze-drying experts in the organic farming community. It’s turned into a development partnership that’s still growing to this day.
Nearly two years later, NurturMe has come to fruition from humble beginnings as the brainchild of one modern mom and her culinary comrade in one of the ecological and earthy-cultural capitals of America: Austin, Texas. “This is a community committed to sustainability and filled with entrepreneurial thinkers. They’ve helped us every step of the way.”

We were sent some pouches to try out here is how they look. These are their 4 month ones.
