Kicking Horse Kick Ass Coffee Review & Giveaway

This is a great review/giveaway for all of you coffee drinkers. I was sent a canister of Kicking Horse Coffee in their Kick Ass dark roast whole bean which retails for $12.99.

The name says it all: carpe diem, play to win, no regrets. Don't let this cute little donkey fool you-he plays for keeps. This take-no-prisoners roast is popular with athletes who'd rather enjoy a good cup of coffee than choke down an energy bar before a workout. A great mix of Indonesian and Central American beans that is guaranteed to kick some sense into you.

Cans are offered as 'whole bean' only.
It is important to store your coffee properly to keep it fresh. Keep at room temperature, sealed in an air-tight container. Avoid plastic containers as your coffee's flavor may be compromised. Expect to use your coffee beans within a 1 week to 2 week period.

This is great coffee. Danny and I both are morning coffee drinkers. This has been the best coffee that we have drank in a long time. I would recommend this to any coffee lovers out there.

Nutrisystem: Weekly Weigh In week #5

This is my 5th week Nutrisystem update. There isn't a whole lot to write about this week. Every morning I weigh myself and on the scale it is stuck on 145.0... So you will be excited to know that today when I got on to record my weight it said......

Which means I still have lost 1 lb this week. I am finally over that hump and in the right mind set. For a grand total of a weight loss of 8.2lbs. If I work really hard this week I may make it my my mini goal I set for myself of 10 lbs by Christmas. I only need to lose 1.8 lbs and I have 10 days to complete it..So wish me luck. I am also happy to say I dropped 2 pants sizes and there is no more muffin top. I am now a size 8 and I haven't been there in a long time.

Batter Daddy Review

I was sent the Cake Daddy for review from Kibber CakeWare and it retails for $7.99. Create a single cake with two or more colors (or flavors). The Batter Daddy is adjustable and made to fit cake pans 8" to 14" wide. Works well in 2”, 2.5” and 3” deep pans. It easily fits most beveled-sided pans, and can be inverted to fit most square pans. The Batter Daddy also fits many shaped pans (round, heart, oval, etc.). Fits most cake pans in the market. Made from a foodgrade plastic, and is dishwasher safe. 

I used this to make my dad's birthday cake. I used a chocolate cake mix and a cherry chip mix.

I poured each flavor on each side and then you pull out the divider and they cook together.

I iced it with chocolate icing and topped it with cherries. It was a big hit and everyone loved it. It didn't hurt that the inside of the cake looked amazing. I love this product and I will use this over and over. If you have a baker that you know that has everything I bet they do not have this or their cake babies. This is a great gift.
